From its very beginnings the Cologne Conference showed that TV is more than just »cinema’s little sibling« – it’s an innovative and independent art form in its own right. The Cologne Conference showcased stylistically and narratively groundbreaking shows like TWIN PEAKS, THE SOPRANOS and 24, daring animation like SOUTH PARK and POPE TOWN and outstanding documentary series like ERROL MORRIS’ FIRST PERSON. This year’s Cult Night will be celebrated with a current serial highlight: The gala premiere of MR. ROBOT holds up a tradition and a standard that the Cologne Conference has established over the years. At the following Cult Night party we take a collective look back at the last 24 years of the International Film and TV Festival. Afterwards: Cult Night Party at the King Georg.
