ZDF/Das Kleine Fernsehspiel Presents
Filmmakers and others are welcome to attend two showcases at Cologne’s Filmhaus theater hosted by Das Kleine Fernsehspiel commissioning editors.
The first event, A DEGREE OF FREEDOM – FILMMAKING AND IMPROVISATION, acknowledges a longstanding tradition at Das Kleine Fernsehspiel. Exploring the impact of improvisation on the produc-tion process, the commissioning editors will present three new projects: 24 WEEKS, featuring producer Johannes Jancke, cinematographer Friede Clausz and editor Denys Darahan, EIN DEUTSCHER WINTER, featuring director Franziska M. Hoenisch as well as producer Sarah Heidtmann, and ALKI, ALKI featuring producer and actor Heiko Pinkowski.
The second showcase starts with a screening of LOOPING, a drama about the encounter of three very different women in a psychiatric ward. 19-year-old Leila (Jella Haase), 30-something Frenja (Lana Cooper) and 50-year-old Ann (Marie-Lou Sellem) form a strong bond with each other. Followed by a Q&A with director Leonie Krippendorff and procucer Jost Hering.
Both showcases will be followed by a small reception that provides an opportunity to meet Das Kleine Fernsehspiel’s commissioning editors and the filmmakers.
