The Great Media Law Summit

Tuesday, Oktober 7 2014, 15.00-17.30 hrs, Wallraf-Richartz-Museum

A workshop event in cooperation with SKW Schwarz-Rechtsanwälte

New business models play an increasingly important role in the media industry. Such models include cross-media or transmedial narrative forms and motion picture productions. The implementation of such projects carries risks from which legal pitfalls can arise. Further topics covered in this workshop are conventional and innovative forms of film financing, and equity contribution models in crowdfunding and crowdinvesting. Selected legal issues in these areas will be presented in plain and clear language and using practical examples, followed by an open discussion of these subject matters. This workshop is primarily geared at film and television producers.
